Full Time Entry Level Producer

Our insurance agency is looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working individual to join our team in Stony Point, NY. If you are a motivated self-starter who is willing to learn, (we will train) then this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

• Being a first point of contact for the agency

• Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers

• Assisting in sales and office organization

• Handling Inbound and outbound calls

• Listening and resolving routine issues

• Responding to basic billing and payment processing inquires and completing required reports and documentations

• Follow up with customers and carriers for various documents

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

• Provide, with a positive attitude, a high level of support in maintaining, expanding, and servicing all accounts

• Issue Certificates, Evidence of Property Insurance, ID Cards, Change Requests, Invoices, etc.

• Handle telephone requests and written miscellaneous correspondence

Requirements:

• Possess a genuine willingness to lean, be intuitive and resourceful

• Knowledge of basic office equipment

• Must maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude

• Be able to provide excellent customer service

• Computer Proficiency

• Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook

• Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up

• Exceptional communication skills

• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
